當史蒂芬進入睡眠狀態時，他是電視節目「 Stephane TV 」中深具魅力的主持人，在提字卡攝影機的面前詳細的述說「睡眠學」；在真實的人生中，史蒂芬是巴黎一家日曆出版商的員工，整天作著無聊的工作。某日隔壁搬來了鄰居史蒂芬妮，史蒂芬對她一見鍾情，史蒂芬妮卻對他非常孩子氣、且對現實世界不是很明瞭的舉止感到十分困惑，再加上史蒂芬那位個性低級卻又十分實際的同事 Guy ，總是給予史蒂芬奇怪的建議，越來越感到慌亂的史蒂芬，把自己的現實與夢境搞的一團亂，究竟史蒂芬該如何奪得史蒂芬妮的芳心呢？

一部充滿法式奇幻異想世界風格的電影。
但是我還是看完了，而且越看有越感覺。

電影一開始，誇張動畫式的內心世界展現，讓我有點看不下去，太意識形態。
後來漸漸習慣，現實跟夢也跟主角一樣分不清，跳躍來跳躍去。
在這種「分不清」的情況下看見自己的影子。

夢是一種潛意識展現。
戲中說：「在夢裡，感情真的是沒法掩蓋的」
說得太好趕緊按下暫停鍵記在筆記本上。

太複雜的感覺在心中說不出口。
就這樣吧。
